The Invitation

In every generation, a few choose to do the inner work that reshapes the outer world. Roots & Resonance is a three-part immersive workshop series guiding participants through the terrain of cultural identity, power, and belonging.

Grounded in African and Indigenous wisdom, anti-oppressive practice, and global ethics, this experience invites you to remember, unlearn, and re-imagine. Each cohort gathers in its own circle—three distinct journeys, one shared intention: to see ourselves clearly, act with courage, and lead with integrity in a complex world.

Together, we’ll explore how culture shapes consciousness, how inequity distorts belonging, and how story, ritual, and reflection can restore balance.

Your Guide on the Journey

On every true journey, there is a guide. In this exploration of cultural identity and leadership, Kevin Baker will hold space for both bravery and vulnerability—offering readings, prompts, and dialogue to illuminate what is already within you. His role is not to define you, but to hold the mirror steady as you see yourself more clearly.

What Participants Will Gain

  • Insight into how culture, race, and history shape self-understanding and action.

  • Practices for empathy, cultural humility, and global ethical engagement.

  • Tools for healing, solidarity, and sustained leadership across differences.
