Eric Svaren

Eric Svaren is a leadership coach, consultant and teacher. He works with leaders who want to substantially “up their game” to build their teams, achieve greater clarity, speed execution, and transcend reactivity. Over 25 years, he has worked with leaders at all levels—from the C-suite to high potential individual contributors—in all industries, including technology, health care, non-profits/NGOs, retail, higher education, and government.

Eric has developed leaders, aligned teams, and facilitated turnarounds—producing organizations that are more effective and resilient, and better able to deliver their mission. These broad experiences provide a rich array of examples, metaphors and stories he brings to clients.

Since 2004, he has taught leadership to both mid-career professionals, graduate students, and undergraduates at the University of Washington in Seattle. He also mentors executive coaches and organization development (OD) consultants and served as visiting practitioner and field advisor for two OD graduate programs. Eric is certified in the Global Leadership Profile, Leadership Circle Profile, EQ in Action Profile, Immunity to Change, and other tools. Eric earned his Master’s degree in organizational sociology and social psychology from the University of Washington.
